Blue Rochelle is 4

Words simply cannot express the joy, and pain I’ve experienced running a very small handmade jewelry brand. The pain of purchasing to many supplies, the tired Saturday mornings to set up for shows, the rejection. But through all of that pain, I’ve felt pure ecstatic joy. Joy knowing that I’ve pushed through obstacles, joy in my heart when you purchase a piece that I’ve made with my own hands, joy that you are helping me make my dreams come true. I’ve always wanted to share creativity, and beauty, in the everyday, and I hope you enjoy my creations.

Jewelry has filled my heart, and allowed me to get lost in thought in clay. Clay lets me slow down, it’s my zen place.

I can’t believe I’ve been working on Blue Rochelle for 4 years. The first couple of years, were a bit of a hot mess! I didn’t know what I wanted to create, what I wanted to share, so in my mind Blue Rochelle is only two and half years old, but officially this lovely lady is 4 today!  So in celebration of 4 years of growing pains, 4 years of facing fears, 4 years or learning new skills, 4 years of meeting new people, I made a lovely vanilla cake with a delicious rose buttercream frosting.  I found this delectable recipe in a book at the library.  I don't bake often, but this was a nice unique flavor!

I just wanted to say thank you for joining me on this journey!  It means the world to me that you are here.
