Farewell Été (summer)

Another summer is coming to an end. It always feels bitter sweet. I already miss the hot days and long nights. I already miss the sound of the mower and smell of fresh cut grass. I already miss ballet flats and T-shirts. But as the seasons change, so must we. Adapt to the cool crisp air, the falling leaves, the rain drops, the smell of cinnamon, watch as the flowers fade, but yet they are still so beautiful.

As usual, time slips away from me. I always want to sit and write these words, but my fingers would rather roll out clay, play with watercolors or sit outside of my studio with music playing, and let my mind wander, and daydream. I’m now taking a bit of time to say goodbye été (summer)!

a small selection of my watercolors can be found on the website, or find me at my next pop-up!
