May In The Studio
There’s something about May that always feels like a gentle turning point—the soft shift from spring’s chaos into early summer’s slow bloom. This month in the studio has reflected that perfectly. I’ve been moving at a steady, intentional pace, letting the work unfold rather than forcing it. That’s the beauty of hand-building each piece—nothing about it is rushed. Every curve, impression, and detail is made by hand, with quiet focus and care.
I’ve been creating a new batch of ceramics that I’m really excited to share. These pieces will be available at the Kinkoch Lavender U-pick event next month—one of the dreamiest events of the season. Picture rows of blooming lavender, golden afternoon light, the hum of music, and the scent of summer in the air. It’s truly magical.
While I won’t be there in person this year, you’ll still be able to shop a fresh collection of my handmade pieces at the event. Each one was built slowly and thoughtfully in my tiny studio, and I hope they bring a sense of calm and beauty to those who find them.
I also have a small pop-up planned for next month—details are still being finalized, but I’ll share more soon. I’m excited to keep bringing my work into the world in ways that feel aligned and intentional.
This month hasn’t just been about making; it’s also been about clearing. I’ve been organizing my space, refining my process, and letting go of what no longer serves my vision. There’s something freeing about stepping back and reevaluating—with every small shift, I feel more connected to the heart of my business.
For the first time in a while, I feel like I’m starting to glimpse what’s possible. I’m learning to trust my creative voice again and feel more confident pursuing larger, more meaningful projects. It’s a quiet but powerful shift—and I’m leaning into it with open hands.
Thank you, as always, for following along. I’m so grateful to share this slow, handmade journey with you.
With warmth,
Tish❤️
